 2024 Scholarship Recipient Briana Day Bio: 

As a West Virginia native, I strive to be involved within my community. Within the last year, I have volunteered for the Dunbar Little League cheer team and assisted in city clean-ups for Saint Albans and Charleston. I am pursuing cheer here at West Virginia State University because I want to be more involved in the University and share the pride I have in this institution with others. I am also an active member of the NSLS (National Society of Leadership and Success; I am part of the criminal justice honors society; Alpha Phi Sigma.
